CUET DU ADMISSION :The University of Delhi (DU) is one of the most prestigious universities in India. It offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in a variety of disciplines.

Starting from the academic year 2023-24, DU admissions will be based solely on the CUET scores. The CUET exam is a national-level entrance exam that is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The CUET exam is divided into three sections:

• Section I: Language: This section is compulsory and tests the candidate’s knowledge of the language they have chosen. The language can be English or any other Indian language

• Section II: Domain: This section is optional and tests the candidate’s knowledge of the subjects they have chosen. Candidates can choose up to 5 subjects from a wide range of options, including business studies, economics, accountancy, entrepreneurship, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, history, geography, political science, psychology, and sociology.

• Section III: General Test: This section is compulsory and tests the candidate’s general knowledge, reasoning ability, and quantitative aptitude.

The CUET scores will be used to prepare a merit list for each program at DU. The candidates with the highest CUET scores will be eligible for admission to the program of their choice.

CUET DU Admission Process:

The CUET DU admission process is as follows:

Apply for the CUET exam: Candidates must apply for the CUET exam through the NTA website. The application process is online

Take the CUET exam: The CUET exam is held twice a year, in May-June and July-August. Candidates can choose to take the exam in either session.

Download the CUET admit card: The CUET admit card will be released online on the NTA website a few weeks before the exam date.

Appear for the CUET exam: Candidates must appear for the CUET exam at the designated center on the exam date.

Check the CUET result: The CUET result will be declared online on the NTA website within a few weeks of the exam.

Apply for DU admission: Candidates who have qualified the CUET exam can apply for admission to DU through the DU website.

Submit the DU application form: The DU application form must be submitted online on the DU website.

Upload the required documents: Candidates must upload the required documents, such as the CUET scorecard, marksheets, and other documents, along with the DU application form.

Pay the application fee: Candidates must pay the application fee to complete the application process.

Attend the DU counselling: Candidates who have been shortlisted for admission to DU will be called for counselling.
